Your glossary
The glossary explains training jargon to your athletes. In the app, a term from the glossary is underlined in exercise descriptions and notes. The athlete taps it to read the definition. Write each term once, and every program in your organization uses it.
The glossary list
In the sidebar, open Library, then click Glossary in the side rail. Three tabs set the scope:
- All — your terms and the system terms together.
- Your terms — the terms your organization wrote.
- System — the terms that ship with the builder.
Each row shows the Term, its Aliases, the Definition, and a Status: Active, Overrides system, or Off.
Adding a term
- Open a new term
Click New term.
- Enter the term and its aliases
Enter the Term. The app matches it as a whole word. An all-caps term matches case-sensitively, so
RIRdoesn't underline inside "stirring". Enter other spellings in Aliases, separated by commas. - Write the definition
The Definition is the popup's body. Write one or two plain sentences an athlete can read mid-session. More detail is optional. The athlete sees it when they expand the definition.
- Save it
Click Add term. The term applies across your whole organization.
Overriding a system term
You can't edit a system term. To give your athletes your own definition, open the system term and click Override. Your definition then replaces the system one on your programs. The term keeps the system spelling, because that match is what makes it an override.
Turning a term off
Open one of your terms and turn off Shown to athletes. The definition stays in the glossary, but the term stops underlining in the app.
