Athlete quickstart
A coach invited you, or you bought a program. Either way, the path is the same and takes about ten minutes: you accept or buy on the web, then train in the app. Training itself lives in the app. The web holds your account, your purchases, and how you pay.
- Open the invite
An invite arrives by email. It names the organization that invited you and the role you join with. Accept invitation opens the invite page in your browser. The same link appears below the button. Paste it into your browser if the button doesn't work in your mail client.

The invite email. The invite is yours alone. It works only for the address it was sent to, and it works once, so a forwarded link does nothing.
If you bought a program rather than accepting an invite, your purchase already gave you access. The buying a program page covers that path.
- Create your account, or sign in
The invite page asks you to sign in or create an account before it can accept anything. Use the address the invite was sent to. The invite is locked to that email and won't accept another one.

Signing in on the web. Accept the invite. You land in the web dashboard with an athlete's rail: Your training, Community, and Purchases. The dashboard shows your current program and your purchases. It does not run sessions.
- Install the app and sign in
Install the mobile app on your phone. Sign in with the same email. Your programs, purchases, and history belong to the account, not the device. A new phone only means you sign in again.
- Answer the intake questions
The first run asks about your goal, your experience, your equipment, your schedule, and body details. It then offers to save maxes for your main lifts. You can skip every question. The answers only shape defaults. The program your coach wrote is the program you run.
Enter a 1RM or working max if you know one. Percentage prescriptions then resolve to real loads from day one. If you leave it blank, you can add it later from Profile or inside a session.
- Start your program
Open the Plan tab. Programs you own but did not start yet sit under AVAILABLE TO START, each with a Start row. The heading reads READY TO START while nothing is running.
Tap Start. The app asks one question. For a template, it asks which days of the week you train. For a subscription, it asks which week to start on. From there, the program lays itself out day by day on Today.
- Log your first session
Today shows the day's session. Tap Start. Tap any value cell (Reps, Load, or Time). A keypad docks at the bottom of the screen.
Next walks the fields and sets in order. ✓ completes a set. The Target column shows what your coach prescribed beside what you did. The rest timer opens on its own when you log a set.
When you're done, Finish shows a summary: duration, volume, and sets logged. Save to log files the session in Activity.
What the web is for, once you're training
The mobile app runs your training. Your web account covers the parts that aren't training:
- Purchases — every program you bought, with its status, dates, and amount. See Your purchases.
- Profile and security — your name, email, and password. See Profile & security.
- Billing — changing or cancelling a paid subscription, covered in Managing your subscription.
An invite and a purchase give you different relationships with a coach. An invite puts you on their roster, so they see your logged sessions. A purchase makes you their customer. They can message you while you run their program, but your sessions stay yours. Invites vs. program links has the full comparison.
Where to go next
The Training section covers the app in depth. Start with:
- Getting set up — the five tabs, the intake, and the training preferences worth setting early.
- Logging a workout — the keypad, set options, exercise swaps, and the tools sheet.
- Managing your plan — pausing, editing training days, and handling missed sessions.
- Maxes and percentages — why a saved max changes what a session shows you.
