The athlete page

The athlete page holds everything about one athlete. You program their calendar here, read what they logged, and check their readiness. In your web dashboard, open Coaching > Athletes, then click an athlete.

The page opens on the athlete's Calendar. A sub-rail on the left groups the rest:

  • Training — Calendar, Sessions, and Trends.
  • Athlete — Overview, Readiness, and Intake.

The athlete's name in the page title is a switcher. Click it to jump to another athlete without going back to the list.

Calendar

The calendar is where you program the athlete. Everything on it came from a followed program, a placed template, or days you wrote directly. See adding a program to a calendar.

Click Add a program in the header to follow a calendar or place a template. The ⋯ menu holds the other actions:

  • Following… — the programs on this calendar and their windows.
  • Save weeks as template… — copies weeks from this calendar into a new template. It appears only when the calendar has training on it.
  • Change team… — moves the athlete to another team.
  • Remove from org… — takes the athlete out of the organization. It needs a second click to confirm. The seat frees up, and their logged work stays.

Sessions

Sessions is the athlete's training log. Each row is one session, with its Date, Session, Outcome, Sets, Off plan, Volume, RPE, and Time.

Filter the log by outcome: All, Completed, Marked done, Partial, or Missed. The program filter narrows it to one program.

The log is read-only. Athletes own their logs, and coaches never edit them. To change what an athlete does next, change their calendar.

Trends charts the athlete's training over time:

  • Weekly volume or distance
  • Sessions per week
  • Session effort
  • Top set
  • Readiness — shows even before the athlete logs a session.

Overview

Overview holds the facts about the athlete and your notes on them:

  • Following — the programs on the athlete's calendar, and their windows.
  • Hidden days — days you hid from the athlete's calendar. Click Un-hide to bring one back.
  • Coach notes — notes for staff. Athletes don't see them.
  • Facts — the athlete's team, email, join date, athlete ID, and billing.

Readiness and Intake

  • Readiness — today's score, a chart over a window you choose, and why the score is what it is. It also shows which form and which source the score came from.
  • Intake — the athlete's answers to your intake form, with the answer history. If your organization has no intake form yet, the facet offers Build the intake.

Both are read-only. The athlete fills them in from the mobile app. To change the questions, see team forms and readiness rules.

  • Today — which athletes to look at first.
  • Messaging athletes — the page has no Message button. Start a thread from Messages or from a row on Today.
