Inviting athletes
Invites are how your roster gets into the app. Each invite goes to one email address and works exactly once. The link does nothing for anyone else. Nobody joins your organization without an invite you sent.
Athletes who join by invite never pay anything. Your plan covers their access.
- Send the invite
- The athlete opens their email
They get an invite link. If they're new, the link walks them through creating a free account. If that email already has an account, they sign in instead. The invite adds your organization to the account they already have.
- They land on your roster
After they accept, the athlete appears in Athletes. The flow then points them at the mobile app. At this point they're a member of your organization. They're not on a team yet, and not running anything yet.
Placing them on a team and assigning a program
An invite gets someone into your organization. Two moves turn that into training:
- Put them on a team. Open the athlete from Athletes. Click Change team. Everything assigned to that team is theirs from that moment. That includes programs the team was already running.
- Or assign a program to them alone. From the same page, Assign program gives that athlete a program without involving a team.
For a whole squad starting the same block, assign the program to the team once from Teams. Everyone on the team picks it up. So does anyone you add later.
Watching invites land
The Invites section shows every invite and its status: pending, accepted, expired, or revoked. Before a season starts, filter to pending to see who still needs a nudge.
Inviting a coach uses the same panel with the role set to Coach. Managing teams & staff covers what a coach gets after they accept. If you want to sell a program rather than add someone to a roster, use program links instead.
