Getting paid

Payouts run on Stripe, the same payment infrastructure behind millions of businesses. You connect a payout account once. After that, every sale routes your share to it automatically. There's no invoicing and no waiting on a manual payout from us.

When you're asked

You aren't asked at signup. Setting up your page, writing programs, and assigning them to your own athletes all work with no payment account attached. Stripe comes up at one moment: publishing a listing. The Publish button on a program stays disabled until payouts are connected. A Connect Stripe button sits next to the explanation.

A program's listing card with Publish listing greyed out above a notice reading 'Connect Stripe before you can list — buyers need somewhere to send payment' and a Connect Stripe button
Publish, blocked until payouts are connected.

You can also connect early if you'd rather get it out of the way. The Stripe Connect section on your Storefront has the same button. It also reports the connection state: Not connected, Verifying while Stripe checks your details, or Active once payouts are live. The setup checklist in the dashboard's left rail points the same way, as Set up selling.

  1. Connect your payout account

Either entry point hands you to Stripe to connect a bank account.

  2. Verify your identity

Stripe is legally required to verify who it pays (name, date of birth, and similar). Most people clear it in minutes. Sometimes Stripe asks for a document and takes a day or two. Your listing can't go live until verification clears.

  3. Sell

From then on, each sale's proceeds land in your Stripe balance. Proceeds are the price minus the platform fee. See Share links & attribution. Stripe pays out to your bank on a rolling schedule, typically a few business days after the sale.

Checking on things

Payouts is the jumping-off point to your Stripe Express dashboard, where the full ledger lives. The ledger holds every charge, every payout, and every fee. The page deliberately doesn't mirror those figures. The next-payout and paid-month-to-date tiles read and say Stripe tracks them. Payout history, bank details, and tax documents each open in Stripe. The page states two rates directly: the platform fee and Stripe's processing fee.

Payouts sits in the SELL group of the rail whenever you're an admin. Before you're connected, the page holds one line: "Connect Stripe first". It sends you to the Storefront, where the connect button lives.
