Organization & billing

If you run an organization, two dashboard sections keep it in order: Organization for who you are, and Billing for what you pay.

Your organization's profile

The Organization section holds the org's identity: its name, type, department, primary sport, contact email, and logo. You can edit all of it in place. Staff and athletes see this attached to the org, so it's worth a minute to fill in properly when you set up.

You don't add people here. Staff invites live in the Staff section — see Managing teams & staff.

Reading the Billing page

Billing shows the full picture of your plan:

  • Current plan — your tier, its status (Active, Past due, or Cancels soon), and when it renews.
  • Seats and usage — how many athlete seats your plan includes, how many are in use, and how much headroom is left. If you're brushing against the cap, change plans before the next roster intake.
  • Invoices — your billing history.
  • Payment method — the card on file.
  • Billing contact — the email that receives receipts and billing notices.

Your 14-day trial

New organizations start with 14 days on the 50-seat plan. You don't need to enter a card to begin the trial.

If you don't add a payment method or choose a paid plan before the trial ends, the trial billing record ends. The organization then uses the Free fallback with no active paid plan. Free has one seat and supports both standalone and subscription program sales. The platform charges a 5% marketplace fee on those sales, in addition to Stripe's payment processing fees.

Making changes — everything goes through Stripe

Payments run on Stripe. Every billing change happens in the Stripe Customer Portal, a secure page where you're already signed in as your org's billing customer. The Billing page's buttons (Change plan, Update payment method, Open in Stripe) all take you there. Changes you make reflect back on your dashboard.

Use the portal to switch tiers, update the card, download invoices, or cancel. If you cancel, access continues through the period you already paid for.

If a paid renewal fails

After a paid subscription starts, a failed renewal shows Past due. A notice appears at the top of Billing with an Update payment button. It takes you straight to the portal to fix the card. This paid-renewal state is separate from a cardless trial ending. A trial with no payment method falls back to Free instead of entering Past due.

If you scheduled a cancellation and change your mind, the same spot offers Re-enable. The plan then continues instead of lapsing at the period's end.

Athletes who join your teams by invite never pay anything themselves. This plan covers their access. See Inviting athletes.
